Comment by direpath Tabard of Therazane works in MoP heroics. It may also work on the level 90 normal modes. Now you can farm rep and also get some good JP at the same time.
Comment by Schnoodledorfer Six quests in a row give reputation each for a total of 42, total. You may want to time them so you can have a reputation buff like WHEE! An additional 4, rep is nothing to sneeze at! Those quests are the first ones given by the Therazane stone lords giants.
The reason they give so much reputation is probably because 42, points are needed to get you to from 0 Hated to Neutral 36, for Hated and 3, each for Hostile and Unfriendly so you can start interacting with the other members of the faction. Bonuses mean you can do better, of course. The quests that lead up to you returning the top fragment and the middle fragment provide little or no Therazane reputation, so you won't need the buff for them.
Earthcaller Torunscar and Earthmender Norsala will have you do about 5 quests, including reading a proclamation to Boden the Imposing. After that one, you will want to have the reputation buff.
The following quest, Rocky Relations , which sends you to Diamant the Patient , awards rep, then the next six reward 7, each. Comment by sunfirehawk Infinite Shadowbat s! Looking for a way to grind Cataclysm Rep? I fell upon this on accident. As a lvl , I was grinding Ramkahen rep for the camels. Go into Well of Eternity. Right after you kill the Abyssal Doombringer and just before you reach Captain Varo'then , there will be 2 Highguard Elite s on top of 2 Shadowbat s.
Be sure to beat Illidan to them just before they become target-able. Right as soon as they become target-able, kill the 2 Shadowbat s. This will make the Highguard Elite s dismount and disappear before hitting the ground. This will cause an infinite loop of Shadowbat s to continue to respawn every 5 seconds. As long as you keep killing them as soon as they respawn, this loop will continue.
If you wait a little longer, the Highguard Elite s will respawn and the event will continue as normal. Normal rep is per Shadowbat. As a human using the Darkmoon Top Hat , I was getting 20 rep per kill Comment by dreamchaos1 I never did all the q's back in cata coz I found them annoying, but do anyone know if I automatically unlock it now that the cata timewalker vendor is up?
Comment by Turof The Lost city of Tol'vir only gives rep per boss on heroic. If you have a class with a pet, do not pet do all damage or you get no rep I did 1 run in ab 5 min, as Blood DK If you grab the Darkmoon faire buff, during the timewalking event simply doing the entire quest chain in Deepholm will give you enough reputation to hit exalted without running any dungeons with the tabard.
You might need to refresh your darkmoon faire buff a couple times as the quest line of the zone takes hours. Best of luck. Comment by dawn Wanna max out your reputation with the Cataclysm factions during Cataclysm Timewalking Dungeon Event while making some gold along the way? Here's how to get around reputation in about 5minutes and 30seconds taking advantage of the Grim Batol farming method and the reputation boost thanks to Sign of the Destroyer.
Of course you could also just aoe the mobs down on the way but using this approach ensures you stray less from the path. In addition, it reduces looting time and is in my opinion less exhausting since you don't have to spam aoe all the time. To achieve this I'd recommend using a high-mobility class with aoe and a way to reset fights if necessary.
I did this on my frost mage but classes like rogue and hunter should also be fine. Before you start: Make sure you've completed enough zone quests to be 'friendly' with the respective faction already.
Buy and wear their respective tabard. Set dungeon difficulty to 'heroic'. Optional Add a vendor mount e. Reins of the Grand Expedition Yak to your action bars. The farming method: 1st section: halls Once inside Grim Batol , follow the regular path towards the first boss General Umbriss a big blue dragonkin.
While doing so: - Body pull ALL the mobs along the way. Use non-damaging abilities e. Spellsteal for those further away. Don't kill them yet. Ice Lance. Don't stop to loot them. When you reach the boss, ignore him and move on towards the stairs to his left side and stop after you're around the corner.
Wait for the mobs to surround you, aoe them down and loot or don't. Don't stop to loot. Stick to the right side of the path to not pull the boss Forgemaster Throngus a giant ettin on accident. Use your class ability to reset if you do pull him. Follow the path. Tag the mobs. Kill the ogres. Once you see the boss Drahga Shadowburner , ignore him and turn right towards the corridor leading down to the last boss. Walk down the first few steps, stop around the corner, wait for the mobs to come, kill them and loot.
Head down the stairs, kill the last group of mobs and loot. Kill the last two Faceless Corruptor s, skip the loot, use your button to get undressed and kill yourself inside the lava. You'll respawn at the start of the dungeon. Leave the dungeon, reset, enter, get dressed and rinse and repeat. Remember to sell trash from time to time. In your last run you can kill the bosses for speeding things up a bit more.
Have fun! You can grab the tabard on one of your visits to Therazane to clear out a single heroic Stonecore to get exalted. If you are still short, there's a bunch of dailies nearby that will give rep each. Please keep the following in mind when posting a comment: Your comment must be in English or it will be removed.
