The Silver Greatsword may look basic on the surface, but it has far more complexities than players might expect. While it can't be improved at a grindstone, its additional effects of dealing greater damage to the undead don't count as an enchantment. This means that players can add enchantments on top of it to make the sword even more deadly.
Players will only find this sword on members of the Silver Hand. Luckily, they are commonly encountered while doing quests for the Companions.
