If you find a weapon with LoH, that amethyst adds I managed to get LoH for less than k on my monk, and that's decent for A2. You also need to attack fast.

LoH loves attack speed. It's why frenzy with a fast dagger just reaps in the LoH. The more hits, the more life, and the greater chance of survival whilst getting beaten on. I don't know that much about WW, though. It will feel way different when you have and drop the pricey LOH stuff and get more vitality and just use revenge and the passive: Inspiring presence.

DPS and LoH is kind of a contradiction in terms. The point in Act 3 is to find a healthy balance of the two and combine it with rescue skills like revenge, leap, and furious charge.

Yeah Ghom became a beast in 1. You need to go at him with a low dps weapon with super high LOH and just melee him down FC: For me, Leap with Iron Impact is what's keeping me alive for a bit while my Ignore Pain is on cool down so I would definitely recommend using that.

I don't use it. WoTB and earthquake are my preference.
